How RasoiKhaana IT Solution, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, handles personal information in RasoiKhaana POS. It covers two different groups: the people who USE the app (you and your staff), and the people whose details you RECORD in it (your customers).

We collect the email address used to sign in, the role assigned to that account, which stores it is attached to, whether it is active, and the date the terms were accepted. We keep basic technical logs needed to run and secure the service.

We use this only to operate the service, to support you, and to keep the service secure. We do not sell it.

When you record a customer name, phone number, loyalty balance or purchase history, you are the controller of that information and we process it on your instructions as your processor.

That means you are responsible for collecting it fairly, telling your customers what you do with it, and having a lawful basis for messaging them. We will not use your customers’ details for our own purposes.

Data is held in managed cloud infrastructure, encrypted in transit and at rest. Access between businesses is separated at the database level, so one business cannot read another’s records.

Some infrastructure or support providers may be located outside India. Where that is so, we take steps to ensure an appropriate level of protection.

Operational records are kept while your account is open. Tax invoices are retained for the period Indian tax law requires, even where you delete other data. On account closure the remainder is deleted or irreversibly anonymised within ninety (90) days.

You can export your data from the application at any time, correct records in place, and ask us to delete your account. Requests about a customer’s data should come to you first, since you hold that relationship — we will help you fulfil them.
